M.Tech Admission In Andhra Pradesh College Through GATE

Eligibility:
  •  The Candidate should be of Indian Nationality 
  •  The Candidate should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh
  •  Candidates should obtain at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belongs to reserved category) in qualifying degree examination.
  • Candidate should qualify either in 2011 or 2012 GATE or GPAT IN 2012 FOR PGEC 2012



PGEC - 2012 Important Dates:
  • Date of commencement of submission of online applications                                                    18.05.2012
  • Last date for Submission & Registration of Online Application form without late fee                     16.06.2012
  • Last date for Submission & Registration of Online Application with late fee of Rs 500/-                 25.06.2012
  • Last date for Submission & Registration of Online Application with late fee of Rs 2000/-               02.07.2012

  • Post Graduate Engineering Common Admission in a AP State Level Admissions into Regular PG Courses in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Pharmacy and Planning (ME / M.Tech. / M.Pharmacy / M.Arch / M.Plg.) Courses for the academic year 2012-2013 conducted by University college of Engineering, Osmania University on behalf of A.P. State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), a statutory Body of the Government of A.P., Hyderabad.
  • Both GATE / GPAT qualified candidates  and  PGECET  – 2012 qualified candidates are considered for admission into ME / M.Tech. / M.Pharmacy / M.Arch / M.Plg. Courses.
  • A  separate notification  with details of admission schedule, certificates / documents to be produced etc. will be issued in the month of July 2012.
  • Preference will be given to GATE / GPAT Candidates in admissions to various PG Professional Programmes in the colleges of the State of Andhra Pradesh, and only after exhausting GATE / GPAT qualified candidates, the remaining  vacant seats will be filled with PGECET-2012 qualified candidates as per the merit order.
  • All PG programs  of part-time / sponsored shall not come under the purview of convener and admissions to such courses are done by the respective universities.
  • GATE / GPAT candidates who wish to seek admission are required to apply / register through online only (printed hard copy of the applications will not be accepted).
  • It is not necessary to apply / register separately for multiple courses. One application / registration is sufficient for all eligible courses.
  • The registration fee is Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- in case of SC / ST).
  • Candidates should satisfy local / non local status requirements as per AP GO MS No. 153 dated: 22-08-2007
  • AP policy on reservation shall be followed in PG admissions for the Convener seats.
